Provides advice and counsel to SHARP’s Steering Committee and its general membership as it relates to public policy and legislative priorities. It looks closely at initiatives that may directly or indirectly impact homeowners. The Committee develops and proposes recommendations regarding strategies aimed at;

• tracking  and sharing information regarding the status of issues pertinent to the SHARP network

• develops and strengthens new and existing relationships with key legislators and policy makers to raise SHARP’s profile

• cultivates relationships with other non-profit  entities outside of the SHARP network with a similar mission statement, to advance common legislative and public policy agenda
